Connect your dataset

To connect your dataset to AI Analyst, follow these steps:

Open the Dataset tab from the AI Analyst dashboard.

Upload your CSV file or Excel file directly into the platform.

Please note that database connections are currently available only in the paid version. If you need to connect to a database, please contact us at sales@datrics.ai.

Datrics AI will automatically generate dependencies between datasets and descriptions of datasets. However, if you prefer, you can switch to manual mode and enter data dependencies and descriptions yourself.

Please note that if you’ve added a dataset to your project, you must also add it to the AI Analyst builder and set up the description and dependencies. By default, Datrics will generate the description for you, and the time needed to create the descriptions is pro-rata to the number of columns in your dataset.
